It started with a passion for gardening. I was introduced to the idea of flower farming early 2019, and several years back I attended a class to become a Master Gardener. 3 months later, I found myself with a Master Gardening certificate and my head spinning. I had no idea the academic level of knowledge it took to pursue a passion for nature. Crazy.
Fast-forward to present day. The passion turned into a dream, which became a reality. I began flower farming because I had the ability and place to do it. More than that, I saw first-hand how flowers were making a difference to the people that were buying them from me. And that got me thinking about what the next step would be.
Our first season of flower farming was more of a hobby. But my husband and I realized we could turn the hobby into a viable business.
So, what started as a passion for gardening has developed into a flower farm business. We are still novices in the cut flower industry; however, we do have a combined total of over 20+ years of farming/gardening experience.
